The Thule 9708 is the most popular 4 bike hang on carrier that we sell. It is fitted to the towball in seconds by tightening the locking screw with the supplied spanner.
All straps are ready fitted, stretchy rubber straps for the top fixings and a fabric strap to go through the bike frames to keep the bikes stable.
By removing two bolts, the Thule 9708 can be folded almost flat for storage.
It does have a tilt facility, but tilting is best achieved with two people. One to support the weight of the bikes and the other to slacken and refit the fixings of the tilt mechanism.
The Thule 9708 can be secured to the car by using a Thule 957 lock. To secure the bikes to the carrier you will need a cable lock such as the Thule 538.
This bike rack is suitable for most vehicles. Along with most carriers it is not suitable for vehicles with a rear mounted spare wheel.
